Exhibition Launch

Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich are delighted to present our new virtual exhibition, Submerged in Echoes by artist Emma Berkery. Associate artist with us for the last number of years, Emma presents an exhibition of new work developed and created in An Chultúrlann itself. Immersed within the life and language of the building, the artist produced works in a variety of media reflecting her experiences during this time. Works include abstract paintings, and text based screen prints. Challenging both artist and viewer, many of the paintings are produced with a limited palette and suggest both physical and psychological spaces. The exhibition is available to view online from 01/04/21 to the 25/05/21

01/11/19 New Studio Space

Great new space to work in provided by An Chultúrlann! Formally ‘Seomra Ealaine’ my new artist studio has lots of space and quite unusually heat! Most unusual for us artists to have a comfortable space to work in…I wonder if my art will reflect the reduction in my suffering for it, over the winter months!!
